About the role#
This is a 12-month Leadership Development Program designed for recent college graduates or graduating seniors. You will step into an Assistant Manager role on your first day to gain hands-on experience in hotel operations. The program combines classroom learning, on-the-job training, and mentorship to prepare you for a career in hospitality management.
What you'll do#
- Work in an Assistant Manager capacity to gain exposure to all facets of hotel operations.
- Participate in leadership and supervisory skills training.
- Complete assigned online coursework covering topics such as conflict resolution, time management, and decision making.
- Collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional departments including revenue management, sales, and human resources.
- Attend monthly meetings to engage with different areas of the business.
What you'll need#
- A Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or equivalent.
- Strong communication skills.
- High-level critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
- A genuine passion for hospitality and leadership.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
Location & details#
- This position is based on-site at the Residence Inn by Marriott Boston Woburn in Woburn, Massachusetts.
- This is a paid, full-time internship role.
- This program does not offer visa sponsorship.
