About the role#
As a Golf Operations Intern at the Titleist Shop at Padgett Center, you will support the daily functions of our golf operations. This role provides hands-on experience in a professional golf environment for students currently pursuing a career in the industry.
What you'll do#
- Support the golf shop office staff with daily tasks and operations.
- Manage opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and computer systems.
- Process point of sale transactions and schedule tee times for guests.
- Assist with monthly inventory control and general shop maintenance, such as restocking and cleaning.
- Respond to guest inquiries via email and telephone.
- Collaborate with member committees to support member events.
- Participate in continuing education and cross-training programs.
- Maintain general supplies and uphold guest service standards.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Professional Golf Management curriculum at an accredited two or four year college or university.
- A positive team attitude and strong customer service skills.
- General knowledge of the Rules of Golf.
- Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds.
- Awareness of your surroundings, including the ability to react to golf environments and follow proper etiquette.
