About the role#
As a Tax Intern, you will work within our tax practice to support teams in delivering tax advice and planning strategies. You will gain exposure to our methodologies while contributing to projects and performing tasks that support team goals. This role focuses on learning and professional development as you observe experienced tax professionals in their day-to-day work.
What you'll do#
- Support tax teams in delivering comprehensive tax advice and planning strategies.
- Participate in the preparation and review of corporate tax returns and compliance documents.
- Assist in the analysis of complex tax regulations to optimize tax positions and minimize risks.
- Conduct tax research to support consulting projects and provide solutions.
- Apply data analytics to identify opportunities for tax optimization and efficiency.
- Engage in international tax planning and multistate tax compliance activities.
- Collaborate with team members to develop tax models and structures for clients.
- Contribute to the preparation of tax provisions and audits to validate compliance.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- At least a 3.0 overall GPA.
- Must meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam prior to full-time employment.
- Typically in the third year of a four-year degree program or the fourth year of a five-year program.
