About the role#
As a co-op in our Tax practice, you will join a team focused on helping companies navigate the complex landscape of indirect taxes. You will gain hands-on experience during our busy season and work with innovative digital tools to build your professional capabilities. This four-month term offers exposure to tax research, technology, and business strategy within a collaborative environment.
What you'll do#
- Execute indirect tax consulting and compliance mandates, including registrations, elections, and memos.
- Assist with tax authority audits, voluntary disclosures, and refund claims.
- Manage complex compliance tasks for financial institutions.
- Deliver strategic insights to help clients make informed business decisions.
- Use digital tools and technology to support tax reporting and analysis.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a post-secondary program for Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail with excellent organizational and analytical abilities.
- Interest in upskilling for a digital world and learning new technology trends.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage projects effectively.
