About the role#
As a US Tax Intern, you will work with our US Tax Team to support cross-border tax matters. You will contribute to client mandates for companies operating in the US and US citizens living in Canada. This is a paid, part-time position running from September 2026 to December 2026.
What you'll do#
- Analyze financial statements, including income statements and balance sheets.
- Conduct technical tax research on corporate and personal tax items.
- Prepare tax filings such as Form 1120 and Form 1040.
- Draft client deliverables, including technical memos and estate tax plans.
- Support the planning and execution of cross-border tax matters.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or Business Administration.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, specifically VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, Goal Seek, and PivotTables.
- Solid knowledge of accounting and mathematics.
- Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
