About the role#
As a Cyber and Privacy Intern, you will join our consulting practice to help clients protect their digital environments. You will work alongside experienced professionals to solve complex business issues, from initial strategy to final execution. This role offers hands-on experience in cybersecurity operations and threat management within a professional services environment.
What you'll do#
- Learn core cybersecurity concepts, including attack patterns, detection, and response.
- Assist with security monitoring and client care.
- Identify, assess, report, and mitigate cyber security incidents.
- Revise and develop processes to strengthen the existing Security Operations Framework.
- Coordinate with stakeholders and build positive working relationships.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in your third year of Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, applied mathematics, or computer engineering.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Java, C, C++, or Python.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented mindset with excellent organizational and analytical abilities.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and demonstrate project management skills.
