About the role#
This internship provides exposure to the Deals practice, where you will support clients navigating mergers, acquisitions, separations, and divestitures. You will work within project teams to provide due diligence and valuation services. This role is a full-time, paid position based in Rosemont, Illinois, for the Summer 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Assist teams with due diligence and valuation processes during mergers and acquisitions.
- Support project management tasks for separations and divestitures, including carve-out planning.
- Gather data and conduct research to inform risk analysis.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet project goals.
- Help develop strategies for employee retention to support client needs.
- Prepare reports and presentations for internal reviews and client meetings.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit or completion of a Bachelor's degree, typically in your 3rd year of a 4-year program or 4th year of a 5-year program.
- Preferred majors include Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
- Preferred cumulative and major GPA of 3.3.
- Ability to work on-site in Rosemont, Illinois.
