About the role#
As a Deals Corporate Finance Intern, you will join a team focused on helping companies navigate transactions including sales, mergers, acquisitions, and financing. You will work on real client projects, assisting in the strategy and execution of deals from start to finish. This is a full-time summer 2027 opportunity based in Québec City.
What you'll do#
- Conduct research on companies and industries to support deal strategy.
- Assist in preparing marketing materials such as teasers, confidential information memorandums, and management presentations.
- Support the team in creating and presenting marketing pitches for existing and potential clients.
- Gather information from client data to perform financial analysis.
- Build financial models to support transaction documentation and proposals.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a post-secondary business or commerce degree with a specialization in finance.
- Comprehensive financial and accounting skills, including an understanding of cash flow, valuation methodologies, and financial modeling.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, specifically Excel and PowerPoint, and experience with Capital IQ.
- Excellente maîtrise du français exigée.
