About the role#
As a Cyber as a Service Summer Intern, you will join our consulting practice to support clients in protecting their digital infrastructure. This role provides hands-on experience in cybersecurity operations, threat management, and incident response. You will work alongside experienced professionals to solve complex business issues, from strategy through to execution. The internship runs from May through August 2027.
What you'll do#
- Learn cybersecurity concepts including detection, response, and attack patterns.
- Assist with security monitoring, incident response, and client care.
- Investigate, identify, assess, report, and mitigate cyber security incidents.
- Perform threat management and threat modeling while developing use cases for security monitoring.
- Enable cyber operations reporting to support anomaly detection and effort estimation.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a post-secondary technology program.
- Ability to code in Java, C, C++, or Python.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail with excellent organizational and analytical abilities.
- Valid Federal Government security clearance or the ability to obtain one.
