About the role#
Promutuel Assurance offers a paid 12-week training program through the Académie Promutuel. This program prepares you for a career in damage insurance by combining theoretical courses with practical work. You will receive support from experienced trainers and managers throughout the process. Upon successful completion of the AMF exams and internship, you will transition into a permanent position.
What you'll do#
- Advise members and build long-term relationships based on trust.
- Analyze current and future needs to provide suitable auto and home insurance coverage.
- Deliver quality customer service and respond to inquiries.
- Participate in preparatory courses to obtain your AMF permit.
- Engage in field observation and call monitoring to learn day-to-day operations.
What you'll need#
- A high school diploma with three years of full-time work experience, or a college diploma or attestation.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite and comfort with new technology.
- Strong French language skills, both written and spoken.
- Ability to maintain a fast pace of learning, take notes, and complete intensive reading.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Functional English is considered an asset to serve our diverse clientele.
Location & details#
- This is an on-site, full-time role.
- Locations include Amos, Ville-Marie, Rouyn-Noranda, and Labelle.
- The training is paid and follows a 35-hour work week.
