About the role#
Promutuel Assurance offers a structured 12-week training program through the Académie Promutuel. This role involves a mix of theoretical courses and practical work to prepare you for a career in property and casualty insurance. You will receive ongoing support from experienced trainers and managers. Upon successful completion of the training and the required Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) exams, you will transition into a permanent position.
What you'll do#
- Advise members and build relationships based on trust.
- Analyze current and future needs to provide suitable auto and home insurance coverage.
- Provide customer service and respond to inquiries.
- Participate in structured training, including field observation and call monitoring.
- Attend sessions either in person or virtually.
What you'll need#
- A high school diploma with three years of full-time work experience, or a college diploma.
- Strong command of the French language, both written and spoken.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
- Comfort using technology to navigate various platforms.
- Ability to maintain a fast pace of learning during the training period.
- Strong interpersonal skills, rigor, and organizational sense.
- Functional English is considered an asset to serve our clientele.
- Basic knowledge of the insurance sector is an asset.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid position based on 35 hours per week.
- The role is available in Amos, Ville-Marie, Rouyn-Noranda, and Labelle.
- Work modality includes both on-site and remote options.
