About the role#
We are looking for a student to join our IT Enterprise Data team for a summer internship. You will work alongside Data Managers and the Data Director to gain hands-on experience in Information Technology while contributing to key initiatives across the company.
What you'll do#
- Help develop reports, wire frames for dashboards, and Power BI dashboards.
- Create data integrations using Microsoft Data Factory.
- Support the data warehouse by identifying and revising reporting requirements.
- Work on initiatives for data integrity and normalization.
- Assess, test, and implement new or upgraded software.
- Assist with strategic decisions regarding new systems.
- Generate reports from single or multiple systems.
- Participate in daily agile scrum stand up sessions.
What you'll need#
- Junior or Senior standing in a degree program, preferably in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or Statistics.
- Experience with SQL or Python.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to initiate tasks and follow them through to completion.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Experience in Power BI or Tableau is a plus.
- You must have authorization to work for any employer in the US without requiring sponsorship.
