About the role#
As an Advisory Services Intern at Premier Inc., you will work within a team of consultants to deliver performance improvement to healthcare systems. This is a full-time, remote role where you will contribute to billable client engagements and internal practice development. You will help identify issues, form hypotheses, and assist in implementing recommended improvements for our clients.
What you'll do#
- Perform billable work for client engagements and internal projects.
- Determine client needs and define detailed business requirements through interviews.
- Analyze and interpret data to evaluate potential solutions.
- Synthesize information into cohesive presentations for client audiences.
- Build working relationships with both the Premier team and client stakeholders.
- Participate in practice development and complete all required training.
- Assist in the implementation of recommended changes at the direction of team leadership.
What you'll need#
- A Bachelor's degree or current enrollment as a graduate student.
- A High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Proficiency with statistical tools such as R, Python, SAS, or Matlab.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with Tableau or Business Intelligence tools.
- Knowledge of risk management practices, market trends, and competitor activities.
- Experience or demonstrated interest in healthcare, business, finance, or healthcare performance improvement.
- Familiarity with Lean Process Improvement or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work in a collaborative business environment.
- Capacity to manage priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.

- This position is fully remote.
- Employment is full-time with a rolling term.
- This is a paid internship.
- No travel is required for this role.
