About the role#
As an Advisory Services Intern at Premier Inc., you will work within a team of consultants to deliver performance improvements to healthcare systems. This is a full-time, remote position that focuses on client engagements and internal practice development. You will contribute to project deliverables, analyze data, and help implement recommended changes.
What you'll do#
- Perform billable work for client engagements and internal opportunities.
- Participate in engagement teams to identify client needs and form hypotheses.
- Analyze and interpret data to evaluate potential solutions.
- Plan and conduct client interviews to clarify project objectives.
- Develop presentation materials and synthesize conclusions into actionable insights.
- Assist in the implementation of recommended improvements.
- Build working relationships with Premier and client team members.
- Learn Premier-based technologies and complete required training.
- Participate in practice development activities.
What you'll need#
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 0 or more years of applicable work experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively in person and through electronic formats.
- Proficiency in Advanced Excel, Tableau, and Business Intelligence tools.
- Familiarity with statistical tools such as R, Python, SAS, or Matlab.
- Understanding of risk management practices and data research methods.
- Attention to detail and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Ability to remain in a stationary position for prolonged periods.
- Interest in healthcare, business, or finance.
- A Bachelor's degree, as well as knowledge of Lean Process Improvement and Six Sigma, are preferred.
