About the role#
The Effector RF Products Department is looking for an intern to support the development of antennas, RF electronics, and test equipment. You will work within a multi-discipline team to solve engineering problems and contribute to real projects. This role offers access to technical mentors and the chance to shadow experienced professionals.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with team members to solve complex engineering problems.
- Create 3D CAD models and engineering drawings for RF product designs.
- Develop prototype hardware and coordinate fabrication.
- Perform hands-on integration and test support for prototype hardware.
- Hold design and drawing reviews with peers and subject matter experts.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace, or Computer Engineering, or Physics.
- Completion of at least 60 credit hours by the start of the internship.
- Experience or coursework in manufacturing and design, thermodynamics, vibrations, materials, mechatronics, or statics.
- Familiarity with 3D modeling CAD tools, specifically Creo Parametric.
- Experience creating engineering drawings.
- Ability to obtain an interim U.S. government Secret security clearance prior to the start date.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
