About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027 based in Tucson, Arizona. You will work on-site as part of the Electrical Engineering Directorate. The team focuses on the design, test, manufacture, and support of electrical subsystems used in aerospace and defense environments. You will work alongside experienced professionals and technical mentors to complete engineering tasks.
What you'll do#
- Troubleshoot hardware and process issues down to the CCA and component levels.
- Resolve issues occurring on production lines and during testing, including work with suppliers.
- Conduct failure analysis and determine root causes to implement corrective actions.
- Create and present updates for electrical engineering drawings.
- Investigate and carry out projects to improve existing processes or test methods.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor’s or advanced degree program in Electrical Engineering or a related STEM field.
- Completion of at least 60 credit hours by the start of the internship.
- Practical experience with RF, analog, digital, or mixed signal circuit design and analysis.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain an active Department of Defense Secret security clearance prior to the start date.
