About the role#
As a Marketing Communications Intern, you will support the firm's communications team by assisting with internal communications and public relations. This role involves informing staff about firm news and initiatives while reinforcing our history and culture. You will work within a team environment and have the opportunity to use AI technologies like Copilot in your daily tasks.
What you'll do#
- Write short articles for the intranet covering diversity, equity, and inclusion, new firm initiatives, and client success stories.
- Draft brief articles for the company website to highlight media placements.
- Create social media posts to share firm news and initiatives.
- Write press releases to announce firm news.
- Handle general coordination duties, such as scheduling meetings and entering work into the project management system.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least three years of study toward a bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or Journalism.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Previous marketing internship experience.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Proficiency with MS Office, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027.
- The role is based in Southfield, Michigan; Denver, Colorado; or Chicago, Illinois.
- We operate under a hybrid work model that encourages flexibility while maintaining a principally in-person environment.
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
