About the role#
As a software engineering intern, you will join our team for the summer of 2027. You will receive dedicated mentorship and take on technical assignments that contribute directly to our identity platform. We focus on building systems that handle scale while ensuring the product meets real customer needs. You will begin shipping code during your first week.
What you'll do#
- Design foundational aspects of the identity platform.
- Work directly with customers to understand their pain points and build features for them.
- Manage data tests for customers at high scale.
- Collaborate with product, design, post-sales, and sales teams to discuss project requirements.
- Partner with your mentor to apply lessons from past projects to future work.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's program in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field.
- A strong computer science background and previous programming experience.
- Proficiency in full-stack development.
- Experience with data modeling and schema design.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines.
- Interest in discussing feedback on large projects.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship based in San Francisco, California.
- The role operates on a hybrid schedule, requiring you to be in the office Tuesday through Thursday.
