About the role#
Pepper Construction is looking for students to join our team as a Virtual Design and Construction Intern for the Summer 2027 term. You will work directly with our VDC team in the Indianapolis area to gain hands-on experience with a commercial general contractor. This is a paid, full-time position.
What you'll do#
- Support design model coordination and visualization tasks.
- Learn and apply various BIM processes.
- Participate in company training sessions.
- Attend jobsite tours to see projects in progress.
- Engage in safety activities and learn industry protocols.
What you'll need#
- You are a current college student entering your Sophomore, Junior, or Senior year.
- You are studying Architecture, Virtual Construction Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or a similar discipline.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
- You possess strong computer skills and the ability to learn new technology quickly.
- You can work independently while also contributing to a team.
- You have the ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
- You have reliable transportation for work-related activities.

- This internship is located in Indianapolis, Indiana.
- The role is on-site.
