About the role#
Pepper Construction is hiring a Quality Intern for Summer 2027. You will join our Quality department to gain hands-on experience with a commercial general contractor in Indianapolis. This role focuses on project delivery, building technology, and field operations.
What you'll do#
- Work alongside Quality team members and project teams.
- Support project delivery, constructability, workflow, and installation techniques.
- Join jobsite quality walks and constructability reviews.
- Assist with mock-ups and help resolve quality building issues.
- Write reports and participate in training sessions, jobsite tours, and safety meetings.
- Gain exposure to real-world situations in both the field and the office.
What you'll need#
- Current college student entering your Sophomore, Junior, or Senior year.
- Pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Engineering, Architecture, or a similar discipline.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with computers and the ability to learn new technology quickly.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and contribute to a team.
- Reliable transportation for work-related activities.
- Desire to work on an active construction site in central Indiana.
