About the role#
Pepper Construction is looking for students to join our financial group for the Summer 2027 term. This internship provides exposure to project-specific accounting duties at a national general contractor. You will work directly with our accounting team to learn how financial operations function within the construction industry.
What you'll do#
- Review owner contracts and identify terms for billing.
- Coordinate the billing process.
- Perform accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash processing tasks.
- Participate in training sessions and safety programs.
- Attend jobsite tours to see our projects in person.
What you'll need#
- You are a current college student entering your Sophomore, Junior, or Senior year.
- You are studying Accounting or a similar discipline and have relevant coursework for the 2026/27 school year.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Computer skills and the ability to learn new technology quickly.
- You can work independently and collaborate with a team.
- You manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
- Reliable transportation for work-related activities.

- This is a full-time, paid internship based in Indianapolis, Indiana.
- The role is on-site.
- We do not offer work visa sponsorship for this position.
