About the role#
PBS Systems is seeking a Technical Support Analyst Intern for a 3-month contract at our Calgary Tech Centre. You will join the Client Services team to support the Install Services group. This role focuses on providing solutions to clients via phone, email, and live chat. You will handle troubleshooting, document customer interactions, and assist with software implementations.
What you'll do#
- Manage incoming support requests and issues from internal and external sources.
- Log and document all interactions in our ticketing system.
- Escalate complex matters to other departments when necessary.
- Collaborate with various teams to streamline how we deliver services.
- Identify ways to improve processes that affect the client experience.
- Build your knowledge of our software and supporting infrastructure.
- Review release notes to stay current on software enhancements.
- Work toward achieving department KPI targets and relevant certifications.
- Participate in personal development and cross-training as recommended by your Team Lead.
What you'll need#
- A High School Diploma is required.
- A relevant certification or post-secondary diploma is currently in progress.
- Strong understanding of Windows 7/8/10 and Windows 2008/2012 Servers.
- Thorough knowledge of PC hardware, software, and Microsoft products.
- Experience with networks, specifically TCP/IP and basic LAN/WAN.
- CompTIA A+ and Network+ certifications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving, documentation, and time management abilities.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and meet deadlines.
- Previous customer service or dealership experience is an asset.
Location & details#
- Location: Calgary, AB (On-site).
- Type: Full-time, 3-month contract.
- Compensation: $20 - $25 per hour.
