About the role#
PBS Systems is hiring a Technical Support Analyst Intern for a 3-month contract. You will join the Client Services team to support the Install Services group. This role focuses on providing solutions to clients via phone, email, and live chat. You will troubleshoot issues, document incidents, and assist with software implementations.
What you'll do#
- Manage incoming requests and concerns from internal and external users.
- Log all customer interactions in the ticketing system and escalate issues when needed.
- Collaborate with other departments to help streamline service delivery.
- Identify ways to improve internal processes and the overall client experience.
- Build your knowledge of our software and the supporting infrastructure.
What you'll need#
- A High School Diploma is required.
- You must have a relevant certification or post-secondary diploma in progress, ideally in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
- Strong knowledge of Windows 7, 8, and 10, along with Windows 2008 and 2012 Servers.
- A thorough understanding of PC hardware, software, and Microsoft products.
- Experience working with networks, specifically TCP/IP, LAN, and WAN.
- Strong documentation, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, on-site role based in Calgary, Alberta.
- The position is a 3-month contract with a rolling start date.
- Compensation is $20 to $25 per hour.
