    About the role#

    The Press Office Student Assistant provides administrative support to the department. This role involves managing daily office tasks, interacting with visitors, and assisting staff with ongoing projects.

    What you'll do#

    • Greet and assist incoming visitors.
    • Answer questions regarding department procedures.
    • Handle a high volume of phone calls and take detailed messages for staff follow-up.
    • Perform clerical duties including filing, photocopying, shredding, and sending faxes.
    • Assist with various department projects as assigned.

    What you'll need#

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and InDesign.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
    • Strong customer service and organizational skills.
    • Reliability and patience when working with visitors.
    • Ability to work independently.
    • Previous office experience is a plus.

    Location & details#

    • Location: New York, NY.
    • Schedule: Maximum of 20 hours per week during the school session and up to 35 hours per week during breaks.
    • Modality: On-site.
    • Compensation: This is a paid position.
