About the role#
Frazier & Deeter is hiring an Assurance Intern for the Summer 2028 term in Huntsville, Alabama. This is a full-time, paid, on-site internship. You will work directly with engagement teams to gain experience in public accounting, serving a range of clients from emerging businesses to large corporations.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with seniors and managers on client engagements across diverse industries.
- Perform audit tasks including planning procedures, balance sheet and income statement testing, and audit reporting.
- Assist with special projects and ad hoc department initiatives.
- Communicate with team members and clients to track engagement status and meet deadlines.
- Coordinate with a performance manager to set professional goals and receive mentorship.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Genuine interest in a career in public accounting.
- Ability to work effectively with engagement leaders and team members.
- Availability to travel to client locations for on-site work.
