About the role#
Ovintiv is seeking an intern to join the Land Administration team for the summer of 2027. This position offers hands-on experience in managing land data, mineral and royalty ownership, and contractual support. You will work alongside an experienced mentor on specific projects while contributing to the daily operations of the Land, Legal, and Accounting teams.
What you'll do#
- Maintain accurate land, ownership, and contractual records.
- Support lease and contract administration processes.
- Perform mineral and royalty ownership analysis.
- Research and resolve ownership, contract, and operational matters.
- Ensure data integrity and regulatory compliance.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Energy Management, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Enrollment as a full-time student through December 2027.
- Availability from May 17 to August 6, 2027.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with Quorum Land Suite is required.
- Experience with Microsoft PowerBI or TIBCO Spotfire is a plus.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to multitask in a team setting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Legal eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship.

- Positions are located in Denver, Colorado, and The Woodlands, Texas.
