About the role#
This internship offers a look into the day-to-day operations of a food manufacturing facility. You will spend the summer working on projects that support our production goals. This is a full-time, paid role based on-site in West Chicago.
What you'll do#
- Learn how to run a food manufacturing line.
- Gather, organize, and analyze data to understand current performance.
- Identify ways to improve yield and reduce waste.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders and business leaders to solve business problems.
- Evaluate core processes and operational activities.
- Complete project-based assignments based on current business needs.
- Prepare a final presentation on your project results.
- Present your findings to members of the corporate management team.
Location & details#
- Location: West Chicago, Illinois.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Pay: $22.00 per hour.
- Work Modality: This role is on-site. You will work in a manufacturing environment that includes cold and warm temperatures. You must be able to wear proper PPE and may need to lift up to 50 pounds.
