About the role#
Oshkosh Corporation is looking for an Accounting Intern to join our team for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, on-site, paid internship based in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. You will work directly with either our Accounting or Finance department to gain practical experience in a manufacturing environment.
What you'll do#
- Prepare journal entries and reconcile bank and general ledger accounts.
- Assist with audit schedules and intercompany reconciliations.
- Establish and monitor standards for inventory parts.
- Perform cost center reviews.
- Support the team with monthly metric reports and daily, weekly, or monthly exception reports.
- Complete various month-end tasks and other assigned responsibilities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor degree program for Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- A graduation date on or after December 2027.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically with Excel.
