About the role#
The External Reporting team works across accounting and various business functions to meet the requirements of regulators, lenders, investors, and internal stakeholders. This 12-week summer internship provides exposure to financial statement preparation, accounting research, and data analysis within a multinational organization.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the preparation of individual and consolidated financial statements for U.S. and Canadian entities.
- Support monthly and quarterly accounting close and reporting processes.
- Conduct research on new accounting pronouncements and business requirements.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends that support reporting and business decisions.
- Collaborate with finance teams to improve reporting processes and support regulatory compliance.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration.
- Status as an incoming Senior or Master's student for the upcoming academic term.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- A genuine interest in corporate finance, accounting standards, and financial reporting.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027.
- The role is based on-site in Franklin, Tennessee.
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship is not available for this position.
