About the role#
The Internal Audit internship at Dorman Products offers an opportunity to learn the fundamentals of internal audit within a global organization. You will work with a team to gain insight into the automotive aftermarket industry while developing your professional skills. This is a paid, full-time summer 2027 program.
What you'll do#
- Learn the internal audit process, including methodology and project involvement like SOX 404 compliance.
- Execute audit tasks such as planning, meeting coordination, control testing, and documentation.
- Gain an understanding of operational processes and technologies like SAP.
- Retrieve data from internal systems.
- Provide clear documentation of your work.
- Manage your workload to meet testing schedules.
- Report on your progress and provide feedback to management.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems Management, Data & Analytics, or a related field.
- Minimum of two years of college completed is preferred.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Interest in finance, accounting, or auditing with completed related coursework.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and follow direction from project leads.
- Integrity and professionalism.
- Previous work experience, involvement in professional clubs, or relevant internship experience is preferred.
- Ability to lift 20 pounds and perform tasks requiring reaching, carrying, and active listening.
Location & details#
- Location: Colmar, Pennsylvania.
- Work modality: Hybrid (work from home two days per week).
- Compensation: $22 per hour.
