Caseworker Intern

About the role#

This internship provides direct exposure to case management and client services within the field of community corrections and behavioral health. Interns will develop professional skills in assessment, planning, and referral processes while learning from experienced staff.

What you'll do#

• Assist in the development, modification, and monitoring of individual client programming.
• Act as a liaison with referral sources to support client progress.
• Support appropriate community referrals and connections for clients.
• Assist in developing assessment-based case plans.
• Monitor client compliance with program rules and expectations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support case management staff.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in a degree program, with a preference for Social Work, Criminal Justice, Psychology, Human Services, or related fields.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with staff and clients.
• Professionalism, reliability, and a willingness to learn.

• Location: Tiffin, Ohio.
• Term: Fall 2026.
• Modality: On-site, full-time.
• Compensation: This is an unpaid internship.
• Schedule: Flexible shifts available, to be coordinated with the site supervisor.
• Eligibility: Candidates must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
