About the role#
As a Caseworker Intern, you will gain direct exposure to case management and client services within community corrections and behavioral health. You will learn from experienced staff while developing professional skills in assessment, planning, and referral processes.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the development, modification, and monitoring of individual client programming.
- Act as a liaison with referral sources to support client progress.
- Support appropriate community referrals and connections for clients.
- Assist in developing assessment-based case plans.
- Monitor client compliance with program rules and expectations.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support case management staff.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program, with a preference for Social Work, Criminal Justice, Psychology, Human Services, or related fields.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff and clients.
- Professionalism, reliability, and a willingness to learn.
