About the role#
The M&D Operations Planning Intern will join the Oracle Veteran Internship Program (OVIP). This role supports the Manufacturing and Distribution (M&D) team, which manages the global distribution of hardware, software, and marketing materials. You will assist with the planning, procurement, and distribution activities that ensure supply chain efficiency and on-time delivery for internal and external customers.
What you'll do#
- Support planning, procurement, and distribution activities for new and existing M&D programs.
- Manage purchasing activities and maintain vendor relationships to ensure material availability.
- Analyze and optimize supply chain processes to identify cost reductions and lead time improvements.
- Develop and maintain key performance metrics for purchasing and planning functions.
- Provide recommendations to management regarding process improvements and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on program schedules, demand forecasts, and product availability.
What you'll need#
- A BS degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Relevant experience or a strong interest in Purchasing, Supply Chain Planning, or Operations Management.
- Familiarity with procurement processes and vendor management.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Compensation: $30 per hour.
- Program: This is a paid internship offered through the Oracle Veteran Internship Program (OVIP), with a preference for transitioning military veterans or active-duty military spouses new to the corporate sector.
