About the role#
Optimax Systems, Inc. is hiring interns for the Fall 2026 term. This is a full-time, paid position based on-site in Ontario, New York. Interns support one or more teams on assigned projects, gaining experience within a manufacturing environment.
What you'll do#
- Support team projects and participate in daily operations.
- Conduct design for manufacture studies.
- Perform data analysis to identify trends.
- Develop measurement systems.
- Determine root cause and corrective actions for non-conformances.
- Iterate work instructions and improve tool designs.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Physics, Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
- At least 18 years of age by the start date.
- Ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
- Analytical troubleshooting skills to identify root causes.
- Must be a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR regulations.
