About the role#
The Image Sensor Technology Development team in East Fishkill is looking for an intern to work within our 300mm wafer fab. This role focuses on the development of image sensor technologies through hands-on experimentation and technical analysis.
What you'll do#
- Perform charge and trap characterization of thin films grown and deposited in the 300mm fab.
- Run experiments independently while working alongside in-fab module engineers and subject matter experts.
- Design and build customized test setups for electrical, thermal, or mechanical evaluation.
- Characterize and operate finished image sensor products.
- Prepare a final presentation to share your findings and pass down your work at the end of the term.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Material Science, or equivalent relevant coursework.
- Proficiency with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, voltage and current probes, and mechanical tools.
- Ability to manage tasks both independently and within a team.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
