About the role#
The PSG SJD team is looking for an applications intern to support work on SiC JFET products. This role focuses on applications like AI data center switch mode power conversion, circuit protections, and renewable energy. You will work on projects that align with global environmental priorities.
What you'll do#
- Support internal evaluation requests across electrical, thermal, and mechanical domains.
- Use lab equipment including oscilloscopes, probes, power supplies, and mechanical tools.
- Design and build customized test setups for internal evaluations.
- Conduct experiments independently, specifically related to SiC JFET products.
What you'll need#
- A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with 2+ years in the power semiconductors field, or a Master’s degree with 0-2 years in the semiconductor industry.
- Required lab experience with power semiconductor products such as IGBTs, diodes, or MOSFETs.
- A background in circuit analysis and power electronics courses.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and verbal and written communication skills.
- Preferred experience includes power semiconductor characterization and converter design.

- This position is located in Princeton, New Jersey.
- This is an on-site, full-time internship for Fall 2026.
- The pay range for this role is $25.00 to $36.00 per hour.
