About the role#
This is a paid internship for Summer 2027. You will join our ROV group to gain practical experience by applying your classroom knowledge to real projects. A mentor will guide your work to help you meet developmental goals and performance expectations.
What you'll do#
- Develop and maintain automated software tests using Python and Qt Squish.
- Improve the quality, reliability, and performance of our ROV software applications.
- Complete project work tailored to your specific experience and educational background.
What you'll need#
- You are a 3rd or 4th year undergraduate student at an accredited university.
- You are pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, DevOps, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- You have a minimum 2.5 GPA.
- You have experience with GitHub and Microsoft Office.
- You have programming experience from coursework or personal hobbies.
- You have exposure to physical tools through home improvement, automotive work, or similar activities.
- You are legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
Location & details#
- This role is based in Austin, Texas.
- The position is a full-time, hybrid role.
- No relocation or housing assistance is provided.
