About the role#
The Supply Chain, Demand Planning Intern works with the planning and purchasing teams at Oatey. You will support demand and supply planning, inventory distribution, and supply chain KPI analysis. This role provides exposure to functional departments and offers an overview of the supply chain function.
What you'll do#
- Collect and analyze data for inventory, backorder, and fill reports.
- Support new item set-up processes.
- Create and manage production, purchase, and transfer orders.
- Communicate with plants, distribution centers, logistics partners, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor degree program for Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills.
- High competency with Microsoft Office products.
- Good communication skills.
