About the role#
The Materials Intern will work directly with our supply chain planning and purchasing teams. This role provides a broad overview of supply chain functions by interacting with plants, distribution centers, logistics partners, and suppliers. You will gain exposure to various departments while supporting demand and supply planning, inventory distribution, and supply chain KPI analysis.
What you'll do#
- Collect and analyze data for inventory, backorder, and fill reports.
- Create and manage production, purchase, and transfer orders.
- Support new item set-up processes.
- Communicate with internal stakeholders and external partners via email, phone, and in-person.
- Assist the supply chain planning and purchasing teams with daily administrative tasks.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
- Good communication skills.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship located on-site in Cleveland, Ohio.
- The internship term is for Summer 2027.
