About the role#
The Quality Engineering intern will support the Corporate Quality Team during the summer of 2027. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Cleveland, Ohio. You will assist with product design evaluations, performance testing, and the product approval process. This role requires a mix of office work and time spent in production environments.
What you'll do#
- Support the Quality Product Approval process (PPAP).
- Review and analyze data regarding product performance and customer satisfaction.
- Conduct and support product design validation testing.
- Assist with product measurement systems, such as CMM.
- Develop Quality Management system documents, procedures, and audit plans.
- Draft Standard Operating Procedures.
- Perform hands-on installation and testing of products.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, or General Engineering, Physics, or Business Administration.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with specific expertise in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and GD&T.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize work effectively.
- A high-energy, assertive, and detail-oriented approach.
- Ability to work well as a team member.
