About the role#
The IT Infrastructure Systems Intern will support the IT Infrastructure team by providing general technical assistance. You will work on hands-on assignments that contribute to our daily operations while gaining experience in a corporate IT environment.
What you'll do#
- Troubleshoot equipment including printers, computers, networks, and servers.
- Set up and run software updates across multiple systems.
- Assist associates with key business applications.
- Participate in requirements gathering and implementation for new desktops or applications.
- Research unusual bugs or issues within business software.
- Learn and execute daily cybersecurity checks and operations.
- Complete various tasks to provide general support to the team.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an undergraduate Information Systems or Technology program.
- Completion of at least two semesters of your undergraduate program.
- Experience working with and troubleshooting Microsoft applications.
- Knowledge of PC hardware troubleshooting.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Demonstrated high initiative.
- Training in network setup and troubleshooting.
- Training in server operating systems.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship located on-site in Cleveland, Ohio.
- The position is for the Summer 2027 term.
