About the role#
NVIDIA is looking for Ph.D. students for Summer 2027 internships. You will join our Computer Architecture and Systems teams to work on projects that advance computing, graphics, and media processing. This is a full-time, paid position where you will contribute to the development of new products and technologies.
What you'll do#
- Design and implement novel ideas in GPU and CPU architectures, operating systems, and AI systems.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external researchers.
- Transfer your research to product groups to support new product development.
- Produce tangible results, including prototypes, patents, products, and published research.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Ph.D. program in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering. You must indicate your anticipated graduation date on your resume.
- A strong research background with publications at top conferences.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, Python, or CUDA.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience in areas such as chip-level architecture, GPU and multi-GPU systems, AI/ML systems, high-performance networking, or VLSI and EDA.
