About the role#
Free People is seeking a Wholesale Intern for the Summer 2027 program. This role is based in Philadelphia and provides hands-on experience within our wholesale operations. You will support the team by managing customer requests, meeting deadlines, and contributing to business improvements through creative problem solving.
What you'll do#
- Enter orders accurately and on time to meet customer delivery requests.
- Perform order maintenance for both existing and new accounts.
- Lead communication across Credit, Customer Service, Transportation, and Fulfillment teams to prepare for order allocations.
- Manage the flow of orders to fulfillment centers in the US and UK while balancing customer needs with sales goals.
- Assist with setting up new accounts in ERP and B2B systems.
- Support team members during high-volume periods like end of month or post-wholesale shows.
- Handle other tasks as assigned by the team.
What you'll need#
- Demonstrated excellence in retail customer service and advocacy.
- Strong communication skills that are proactive, effective, and positive.
- Proven team leadership abilities.
- A professional and respectful approach when working with internal teams and external customers.
- An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Fashion, Business, or a related field is a plus but not required.
- A Trend Concept Board showing 3-5 emerging trends for Fall 2027. This should be submitted as a PDF and include imagery from sources like blogs, Pinterest, Instagram, or runways to illustrate your point of view.

- This is a paid, full-time, on-site internship located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
- The program runs from June 7, 2027, through August 13, 2027.
