About the role#
As a Resilience and Third-Party Risk Intern, you will support the Business Continuity and Third-Party Risk Management teams. You will work alongside your manager, mentors, and colleagues to strengthen operational resilience. This role provides exposure to how the company prepares for business disruptions, supports continuity planning, and monitors risks associated with third parties.
What you'll do#
- Assist with maintaining business continuity plans and documentation.
- Support business continuity exercises, scenario testing, and post-exercise activities.
- Help with third-party risk tasks, including due diligence documentation, risk assessment support, issue tracking, and ongoing monitoring.
- Collect and analyze data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities.
- Prepare reports, presentations, meeting materials, and status updates for internal stakeholders.
- Participate in meetings with business partners to learn how risk requirements apply across the company.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university with an anticipated graduation date after the internship.
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Academic or project experience in business analysis, risk, continuity planning, data analysis, operations, or information technology.
- Majors in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or Data Science are preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and collaboration tools.
- Ability to evaluate information, ask questions, and identify practical solutions.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities under deadlines.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- A self-motivated, curious, and collaborative approach to professional work.
Location & details#
- Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
- Term: Winter 2027.
- Modality: Full-time, on-site.
- Compensation: $16.50 to $30.00 per hour, based on academic tenure and major.
