As a College Financial Representative, you will build an integrated financial planning practice from the ground up. You will gain professional experience by developing a client base while receiving support and guidance from experts. This role allows you to build your professional network and develop skills in financial planning.
What you'll do#
- Prospect and network to build your business and client base.
- Develop and execute a business strategy.
- Call on potential clients and set meetings to discuss their financial goals.
- Prepare plans and offer recommendations.
- Gain exposure to proprietary planning software platforms.
- Engage in weekly coaching, training, and development meetings.
- Obtain Risk Product State Licensing for Life, Accident, and Health.
- Build life skills to support future career opportunities.
What you'll need#
- You are a full-time student, preferably a junior or senior.
- You have entrepreneurial ambitions and a curiosity for sales.
- You are highly involved on campus through leadership roles, athletics, or student organizations.
- You have excellent time-management skills.
- You have an interest in financial literacy and planning tools.
- You possess business savvy and a desire to increase your critical thinking abilities.
