About the role#
College Financial Representatives build a financial planning practice while receiving guidance and support. You will work to help people reach their financial goals while developing your own professional network. This program is designed to provide you with a framework for building a business from the ground up.
What you'll do#
- Prospect and network to build your business and client base.
- Develop and execute a business strategy.
- Call on potential clients and set meetings to understand their financial goals.
- Prepare plans and offer recommendations based on client needs.
- Engage in weekly coaching, training, and development meetings.
What you'll need#
- You are a full-time student, with a preference for juniors and seniors.
- You have entrepreneurial ambitions and a curiosity for sales.
- You are highly involved on campus, such as in student government, athletics, or other organizations.
- You possess excellent time-management skills.
- You have an interest in financial literacy and planning tools.
- Relevant majors include Business Administration, Finance, Economics, and Marketing.
