About the role#
The Coordinator of New Student and Community Relations supports recruitment and outreach efforts by engaging with prospective students, families, schools, and community partners. This position executes recruitment initiatives, represents the college at various outreach events, and provides frontline support to help prospective students navigate the enrollment process. You will work under the direction of the Director of New Student Relations to meet institutional enrollment goals.
What you'll do#
- Plan, coordinate, and execute recruitment events in alignment with college strategies and timelines.
- Maintain ongoing relationships with assigned high schools and community partners.
- Represent the college at high school visits, college fairs, job expos, and other outreach events.
- Guide prospective students through the enrollment process and provide accurate admissions information.
- Organize and lead campus visits and tours for prospective students.
- Communicate with prospective students using social media, email, and text messaging.
- Assist with the hiring, training, and supervision of Student Ambassadors.
- Enter prospective student interactions and event outcomes into the college CRM and Student Information System.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor's degree.
- Two years of experience in program administration, student services, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to build relationships and engage effectively with diverse groups.
- Experience planning and executing events.
- Comfort using social media and technology for outreach purposes.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid position based in Arkansas.
- The role is on-site, requiring a presence at the Bentonville and Springdale locations.
- Local travel using a personal vehicle is required, with mileage reimbursement provided.
- The schedule primarily occurs during the workday, though occasional early mornings, nights, and weekends are required.
- Preferred academic backgrounds include Communications, Business Administration, Psychology, or Marketing.
