About the role#
The Coordinator of New Student and Community Relations supports recruitment and outreach efforts by engaging prospective students, families, schools, and community partners. This role executes recruitment initiatives, represents the college at outreach events, and provides frontline support to help prospective students navigate the enrollment process. The position involves working under the direction of the Director of New Student Relations to meet enrollment goals.
What you'll do#
- Plan, coordinate, and execute recruitment events.
- Maintain ongoing relationships with assigned high schools and community partners.
- Represent the college at high school visits, college fairs, job expos, and other outreach events.
- Provide admissions information and guide prospective students through the enrollment process.
- Organize and lead campus visits and tours.
- Communicate with prospective students using social media, email, and text messaging.
- Collaborate with other departments to support recruitment efforts.
- Maintain accurate records of student interactions and event outcomes.
- Assist with the hiring, training, and supervision of Student Ambassadors.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor's degree.
- Two years of experience in program administration, student services, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to build relationships and engage with diverse groups.
- Experience planning and executing events.
- Comfort using social media and technology for outreach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Travel: Requires local travel using a personal vehicle (mileage reimbursed), including occasional early mornings, nights, and weekends.
