About the role#
As a Risk Advisory Intern, you will work with our team to help organizations manage risk and improve internal controls. This role offers exposure to a variety of industries and allows you to apply your academic background to real client situations. You will gain hands-on experience in the consulting field while supporting our engagement teams.
What you'll do#
- Support risk and accounting consulting engagements including internal audit, SOX compliance, and business process improvement.
- Assist with project quality control from initial planning through to report composition.
- Provide recommendations to clients regarding risks related to financial reporting, operations, compliance, and fraud.
- Maintain a strong client focus by understanding business needs and building professional relationships.
- Learn about the risk advisory field through active participation in client engagements.
What you'll need#
- Current standing as a Junior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or CIS.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher is preferred.
- Ability to travel to client sites as required.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a deadline-driven environment with attention to detail.
- Willingness to pursue professional designations such as CPA or CIA.
- Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship.
