About the role#
NorthWest Arkansas Community College is seeking qualified applicants to establish a pool for part-time and substitute instructors for the Student Success course (COLL 1001). This is a rolling application process, and applications are kept on file for the current fiscal year ending June 30.
What you'll do#
- Design and deliver instruction for day, evening, weekend, and online classes.
- Manage student assessment and grading.
- Provide timely communication with students, staff, and college administrators.
What you'll need#
- A Master's degree in any field.
- Demonstrated teaching ability.
- Ability to use an online platform for instruction.
- Teaching experience, particularly in higher education, is preferred.
- Experience with leadership at a community college or educational institution is a plus.
- Interest in project-based, service learning, or inquiry-based learning is given special consideration.

- Compensation: $765 per credit hour.
