    About the role#

    This Engineering Co-op position supports the Ft. Smith, Arkansas site by assisting with motor design, documentation, and manufacturing tasks. You will gain hands-on experience by working on real engineering projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams on process improvement initiatives.

    What you'll do#

    • Create and modify technical drawings.
    • Coordinate with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
    • Review industry standards to ensure compliance.
    • Create and update bills of materials and other necessary documentation.
    • Work with leadership to expedite documentation changes.
    • Collaborate across the business to support quality and process improvement.

    What you'll need#

    • Enrollment in an Engineering program (Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial).
    • An Associate degree in an applied science or engineering field is desired, or at least 60 hours of technical education.
    • Strong problem-solving skills.
    • Clear written and oral communication skills.
    • Five or more years of experience in electric motor manufacturing is preferred.

    • This role is located in Ft. Smith, Arkansas.
    • The position is on-site and full-time.
    • This is a paid co-op term.
